For the past decade, students at St Columban’s in the Newcastle suburb of Mayfield have been doing amazing things with skipping ropes – all in the name of promoting a healthy lifestyle.

The Jump Rope for Heart squad has been perfecting its routine for weeks and is now performing for other kids, to inspire them to stay active.

NBN was invited to the team’s final rehearsal before touring schools in the region.
