  1. i think this is digraceful tinkler and the hsg should be ashamed of themselves they took over the jets knowing it wasnt a money making thing but yet they still went ahead saying they were going to unite newcastle and look what they do to the fans which they have the second biggest following in the league the players that have ignored more money to play for the team. tinkler is just a money hungry dog who will lie hes way out of this so much for making a better newcastle!

  2. Considering all the circumstances, I totally agree with the Hunter Sports Group’s decision to hand back their A League license, regrettably so however. I have lost all confidence in the FFA and the positions of both Ben Buckley and Frank Lowy have now become untenable. They should both resign, effective immediately.

  3. HSG shouldn`t be using the club and therefore its employees, members and supporters as pawns in its fued with the FFA. I agree that there needs to be change in the adminstration of football in this country but the actions of HSG today shows contempt for the people who love this club and who have had to put up with enough from incompetant management in the past.
Thankyou Nathan for giving us so much then leaving us with so little!

  4. I am totally shattered by the decision, I agree with HSG, no buisness can continue at a loss of the proportions mentioned, the FFA bosses set there own Salarys also how can F Lowry be incharge when he has a share in Sydney FC is this not a confict of intrest there must be somthing major wrong with the AL when millionair owners can’t support the teams Knight,Fury,Gold Coast now Newcastle

  5. Lets hope Tinklers horse wins the sires this weekend, he might just have a change of heart and keep the Jets going, my 2 boys are shattered, they never missed a game all year, its a very disappointing decision Tinkler has made.
