The Pacific Highway is still cut between Grafton and Iluka with detours available via the Bruxner Highway and the Summerland Way through Casino.
Alternatively the New England Highway is open.
There are changed traffic conditions around Grafton and local controllers may be in place.

It would be handy for the travelling public to recieve regular update via their car radios regarding road openings or closures. Our family is travelling from Melbourne to Brisbane and are unable to get the latest road contition reports as the mobile phone network appears to be over loaded. They are at Camden at the moment waiting to hear whether they are able to drive from Sydney to Brisbane. I have tried to get information for them however all I can get is recorded messages from the local authorities.
Can you please advise as to what I should do to get meaningful information.
