Maclean Football Club celebrates a significant anniversary this evening, as it hosts Byron Bay at Wherrett Park.
The Bobcats are in need of a win – the side is currently sitting at the bottom of the men’s premier league ladder.
Football Far North Coast General Manager, Steve Mackney, says the club has promise though – previously claiming competitions in both the Far North Coast and North Coast fixtures.
“The Maclean Bobcats are celebrating 40 years of existence, which is a wonderful milestone for the very proud club,” Mr Mackney said.
South Lismore and Richmond Rovers are sitting on top of the ladder, ahead of Byron Bay in third.
The Rovers will play Goonellabah Hornets on Tuesday night to mark the end of round nine.
