Parishioners gathered in prayer at Lismore this morning, to mark 100 years of St Vincent’s Hospital.
An initiative of Bishop John Carroll, it was the first regional Catholic hospital to be founded in the state.
Over its years, the hospital has been by the side of thousands of people in times of need.
Bishop Gregory Homeming today prayed it will continue helping the sick for another century.
