MAN INJURED AFTER A BUS TYRE FELL ON HIM AT CENTRAL COAST

An employee has been injured after a bus tyre fell on him at a depot on the Central Coast this morning.

Emergency services were called at around 7:30 to reports a bus has fallen onto a man at Empire Drive in Kincumber.

However, when they arrived they found it was a tyre that had fallen on a man working at the bus depot.

Paramedics and the Helicopter Critical Care Medical Team treated the 26-year-old for lower limb and pelvic injuries.

He was stabilised and airlifted direct to John Hunter Hospital in a stable condition.
