GAV’S WEATHER | RAIN RETURNS TO PARTS OF THE COAST

There’s limited cloud over the nation.

The local area is now seeing cloud increase especially over the Northern Rivers today.

Partly cloudy skies were seen elsewhere.

A large high has drifted into the Tasman.

As the high slides further east the onshore winds will help build the cloud cover across northern NSW and SE QLD triggering increased shower activity as the coastal trough deepens.

The wet weather won’t be as frequent for the Greater Hunter and the NW will remain dry.

Showers will increase along the northern NSW and SE QLD coasts.

Isolated shower south of Coffs to Newcastle while the upper Hunter and NW remain dry.
