An injured bushwalker has been winched to safety after he slipped while walking the Mount Nardi track, north of Nimbin, yesterday afternoon.
Emergency services and the Westpac Rescue Helicopter responded to the incident.
The 56-year-old man was airlifted to Lismore Base Hospital in a stable condition with a fractured ankle.
