New Zealand’s Ryan Fox has won the 2013 Jeep Pro-Am at RACV Royal Pines following a three-way play-off.
Fox was tied at 15 under par with Victorian Anthony Brown and fellow kiwi Garath Paddison at the end of regular play, but birdied his final shot to claim victory.
Over 100 golfers, including soccer’s Harry Kewell competed in the $200,000 event.
It was good practice for some ahead of the Australian PGA championship in November.
“we’re really comfortable that they’ve had a good hit out and certainly know what to expect come November and you’d think many of the players here would be in contention come Sunday afternoon at the PGA”
The cash-prize for first place was $36,000.>
