A man has been charged with murder after a woman’s body was found on the bank of the Hunter River yesterday.
Members of the public found the 23-year-old woman’s body on the river bank yesterday morning off the Melville Ford Bridge Crossing at Aberglasslyn.
Late yesterday afternoon a 30-year-old Greta man was taken into custody and charged with murder.
He will face Maitland Local Court today.
