EDUCATION PROVIDED FOR YOUNG ATHLETES
The Northern Inland Academy of Sport has moved its off-field education day to tomorrow, marking the start of many of the sporting programs for the new year.
It’s aiming to highlight that a successful sporting career involves more than just athletic ability.
“You look at a guy like Roger Federer whose image is just absolutely perfect. So that training starts young, because if fame comes, it often comes quick.”
Following the induction, the hockey squads will travel to Newcastle next week to train under a current Australian coach.
