The state’s rising basketball stars have travelled to Tamworth this weekend for round two of the North Eastern Junior League.

Under 12s and 14s sides from the Central Coast to the Queensland border…going head to head.

Born and bred in the Manning Valley, Rob Douglas joined the Taree bureau in June 2021 after a short career in print media. He joined the Tamworth team in July 2023. Rob graduated from Charles Sturt University in Bathurst in 2016 with a sports journalism degree.
