While all eyes will be on Flemington tomorrow, the Tamworth Jockey Club are also preparing for their annual Melbourne Cup Day race meet.
Organisers are hoping for a record crowd, with five races programmed.
They’ll be spaced out during the day so there will be some local racing which is a great thing, Tamworth Jockey Club President Tim Coates said.
