Novacastrian Ben Gumbleton, one half of Australian band Boo Seeka, was trapped in a Paris music venue for four hours in the wake of the deadly terror attacks on the French capital today.
Boo Seeka was performing at music venue Les Etoiles when the deadly attack occurred about 2km away at the Eagles of Death Metal concert.
According to a post on their Facebook page, Boo Seeka was then locked in the venue.
“We have finally been let out of the venue we have been locked in for the last 4 hours we played tonight in Paris into a city full of sirens and chaos,” the post read.
