A Murwillumbah teen is one step closer to his dream of playing cricket for Australia jetsetting to Adelaide to represent his state in the under 19’s championships.
18-year-old Sam Reading began his career in the local Northern New South Wales tournament, and will now have to handle the pressure of being the state’s wicketkeeper.
“Hopefully i just bat good, keep good and do everything i can for the team, make us win”
The best performing players are then picked for the Australian under 19s team.
