A 26-year-old man was forced to drive three people around Lake Macquarie for several hours, following a car jacking late yesterday.
Two men entered his car while it was stopped at the intersection of Quigley Road and The Ridgeway at Bolton Point at around 5pm.
Police say he was intimidated into driving around the area and picking up a third passenger at Toronto.
After three hours, the driver eventually made his way to Cardiff, where he was assaulted and had his personal belongings stolen.
The men are described as being of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander in appearance and between 30 to 50 years old.
