A 58-year-old man was assaulted during a Central Coast home invasion overnight.
Two men forced their way into his Toukley home through a back door at around 9pm, and attacked the man with an iron bar.
The man suffered cuts to his head and was taken to Wyong Hospital.
Detectives believe it may have been a targeted attack and are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
