Police are investigating after two children were approached by an unknown man in South Kempsey yesterday.
Two girls aged 9 and 10 were approached by two men who were parked in a driveway of a home across the road from their home in Chifley Place.
The small red hatchback was last seen traveling east on Middleton Street.
The first man was described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, 168cm tall, wearing a white t-shirt and colourful board shorts with surf pattern.
The second man is described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Straight Islander appearance, wearing a grey singlet and board shorts.
Police are asking anyone with further information to come forward.
