A man has died in a suspected drowning at Port Stephens overnight.
At around 8pm, a woman contacted police when her 82-year-old husband failed to return home after visiting their yacht, which was moored at Soliders Point.
Water Police, Marine Rescue and the Westpac Rescue Helicopter conducted a search and found the man deceased at around 10 o’clock.
His death is not being treated as suspicious.
