The faces and personalities of Biripi elders have been captured by local artist Jo Ernst in her latest exhibition at the Manning Regional Art Gallery.
The works on paper depict 27 well-known elders from the region.
“She get peoples character more than an accurate portrait that you would get from a photograph and she’s able to pick up people’s expressions and people’s personalities more than you would in alot of other styles.”
Former Elands artist Suey McEnnally is also exhibiting some of her landscape pieces at the gallery.
