A 33-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder following a stabbing at Woodberry earlier this week.
The man and two others were apprehended after a dramatic manhunt in Cessnock yesterday, following a collision in a stolen car.
The trio fled the scene, but were later arrested in Yilgarn Avenue.
The 33-year-old man will face attempted murder, car theft and aggravated break and enter charges at Maitland Local Court today.
A 23-year-old woman and 21-year-old man were both charged with travelling in the stolen vehicle. The woman was additionally charged with possess drug.
They will appear in Maitland Local Court in July.
