I work at ugl taree for now and expecting to be retrenched within two weeks . we would have pleanty of work but our work has been filtered off to india where ugl has set up a work shop and have over the last two years been sending workers from our workshop to show the Indians how to build what traditionaly been built at taree . The workshops have been as we have just found out been in the building stage for 8 years so the plan has been a long term one to get rid of Australian manufacturing. I am proud to have been in thye company of some great tradespeople which turned out quality products and its a pity that no political party will touch us and help for what will be a massive blow to a smalll community
