The Sunshine Coast’s Jane Bush and Carol Williams have taken out the Club Helensvale Ladies Prestige Pairs by a single point.
Trailing for most of their final game, the pair’s last bowl earned them three points – just enough to win the game and the entire competition.
“My goodness we’re excited, we really didn’t expect to win the whole thing we just tried to win our games and go from there.”
They just beat locals Marilyn Wright and Brenda Thompson to take the trophy.
