Newcastle police are investigating the stabbing death of a Chinese national at a unit in Brown Street Newcastle early this morning.
Police were alerted to the incident just after 3.30 am and found the body of a woman in her 30s, at Old Church Close.
The woman’s partner, a Chinese male is being interviewed by police through an interpreter.
