Former Blaze Coach Brendan Joyce, have been unanimously elected the first president of the National Basketball League’s Coaches Association.
Joyce says one of the first goals will be to overhaul the system to ensure that like AFL and NRL, coach and player contracts are honoured.
It follows his high profile court-case-victory over unpaid wages as the inaugural Blaze coach, only to lose half a million dollars after the club folded earlier this year.
