GOOD BEHAVIOUR FOR ANIMAL CRUELTY CASE

A Rosebank man has been put on a two year good behaviour bond and ordered to pay veterinary costs after pleading guilty to animal cruelty.

Paul Travill was charged with failing to provide adequate care to his horse, after it suffered severe rope burn.

  2. I am a Rosebank resident and this man has been torturing these horses for years.Those horses should of been taken from him years ago.Its a disgrace that he only got off lightly and no horses were seized

  3. I am shocked that this disgraceful man has got off so lightly but hopefully with all the wonderful work & hours that the members of the East Coast horse rescue have put in
    it will raise awareness & much needed funds to prevent cruel & ignorant people like this person to ever treat an animal like that again.

    Animal cruelty laws need to be addressed and the need for more inspectors in this region is urgent .
    Well done to all involved in exposing this man.

  5. I thnk that his sentece was far too light. I agree with the message above – what is in store for the Rosebank horses now? Animal cruelty should be condemned and must be treated as a serious subject by local legislators, veterinarians and officers of animal welfare groups.
