BEACH CRICKET GOES PINK FOR A GOOD CAUSE

It’s rare to see a few blokes wearing pink for a game of beach cricket.

But what better reason, than to raise money and awareness for the McGrath Foundation, funding breast cancer support services.

English cricketer Adam Hollioake and Australian batsman Michael Bevan will be leading the match at Surfers Paradise next week, with Gold Coasters invited to secure a spot in their teams.

“If it’s anything to go by how my career panned out compared to Michael Bevan, probably them.. ..but it’s not about winning it’s about supporting a good cause.”

The event’s run by Hard Rock Cafe for Pinktober.
