In representative cricket, Northern Inland has named its side to take on Hunter Valley on Sunday.
The match will be used as a selection trial for the Central Northern team to compete at the Country Championships later this month.
Tamworth has 10 players involved with the team, with Armidale’s Michael Dawson and Karl Triebe to join them.
Reigning New South Wales Country player of the year Tom Groth will lead the side.
The match gets underway at Tamworth’s Number One Oval at 10am.
