Level three water restrictions are now in place in the Bellingen Shire.
Council says the restrictions are needed because of low water flows in the Bielsdown and Bellinger Rivers.
Residents are urged to adhere to the limits to help preserve water and are warned breaches of the guidelines attract a $220 fine.
