Today the Hunter was once again on flood watch, with the Bureau of Meteorology predicting heavy rainfall over the next two days.
It says up until tomorrow, there’s a chance of minor to moderate flooding across the Hunter Valley, stemming from the Williams and Paterson Rivers.
People living or working along rivers and streams are being urged to monitor the latest weather warnings and be ready to move to higher ground.
But the rain has brought some good news, with the region’s total dam storage increasing by six percent in the last four days to sit at just over 86 percent.
