Glencore fights proposed heritage listing of Ravensworth Homestead to make way for mine expansion

Glencore has ramped up efforts to extend the life of an open-cut coal mine in the Hunter, as it looks to access millions more tonnes of coal.

The company’s fighting a proposed heritage listing of a building on its site – after the project was refused by the Independent Planning Commission.
