Woman charged after man and infant struck by vehicle

A woman has been charged after a man holding an infant was struck by a vehicle in an alleged domestic violence-related incident on the Central Coast earlier this week.

Following an alleged argument at a home, the woman allegedly drove a car towards the man, who was carrying their 10-month-old child and hit them both.

The man and the child are both in a stable condition.

The woman was charged with six offences at Gosford Police Station, including dangerous driving occasioning grievous bodily harm, drive recklessly/furiously or speed/manner dangerous, fail to stop and assist after impact cause injury, common assault (DV), and drive motor vehicle during disqualification period (two counts).

She has been given conditional bail to appear before Wyong Local Court on Thursday 2 March 2023.
