FLOODWATERS RECEDE ON CENTRAL COAST

Flood waters have begun to recede on the Central Coast, with Gosford SES today assisting families in Spencer and Gunderman, on the banks of the Hawkesbury.

While the Road to Wisemans Ferry is now believed to be clear, the SES is urging extreme caution, due to landslips in the area.

Further North, floodwaters receded throughout the day in suburbs surrounding Tuggerah and Budgewoi Lakes.

While four council vehicles ensured The Entrance Channel was flowing freely on the run-out-tide.
