A teenager remains behind bars tonight, after being charged with murdering a 16-year-old boy at Lake Macquarie on the weekend.
The accused – who can’t be identified for legal reasons – was denied bail in a children’s court today.
He’s alleged to have stabbed the 16-year-old at Swansea on Friday night, during an argument between two groups of people.
The case will return to court in November.
