The Far North Coast has narrowly missed out on the trophy at this year’s Country Rugby Championships in Tamworth.
Going up against Central West in the grand final today, it was a nail-biting finish.
Central West had an early lead, and while the Far North Coast tried its best to crawl back in the second half, it wasn’t enough.
The final score, 24 – 19.
The Far North Coast players return home later tonight.
