Engineers have assessed the damage, after severe water main burst on the Central Coast.
The force of the break, sent a torrent through Terrigal streets, and flooded a number of houses yesterday afternoon.
Two homes were evacuated on the Scenic Highway and Riviera Avenue, where a retaining wall was damaged.
The break left properties in the Terrigal and Avoca Beach areas without water, well into today.
