  1. Peter Blackmore isn’t ‘claiming’ anything. He’s absolutely spot on. As a resident of Maitland, I heard about the ‘million dollar transport study’ for this area through a mailout around this time last year. My sentiment is, though, instead of spending millions on working out what needs to be done, why not throw the cash at the council roadworkers who’ll use it wisely to fix the dilapidated goat-tracks so frequently encountered throughout the entire state?
Really, when is this Rees bloke gonna actually do something to keep his job? Instead of resigning himself to the fact that he and his bunch of bludgers are gone at the next election, he should be gathering his flock of useless cabinet members in the party room and giving them a right royal flogging. We need a Premier who pushes his joke of a party to work their tails off, not just waste more time and money with smokescreens. The electorate that believes the Rees Government spin next time they vote deserve to live with the low quality of services, lack of infrastructure, crappy roads, outdated public transport, even higher taxes and a continuance of the, “We’ll fix it!” rhetoric we’ve heard from NSW Labor for the past five years under Iemma and Rees. Problem with elections, though, the Government always wins…..
