JOCKEY TALKING AGAIN

Injured jockey Hari Singh is making steady progress in his recovery from head injuries suffered in a race fall last week.
Singh suffered the injuries when he came off Blue Onyx at Tamworth.
He was subsequently transported to John Hunter Hospital where he was placed in an induced coma.
Racing NSW safety officer Maurice Logue said Singh was now able to talk coherently but tired easily.
“Hari is showing steady improvement and is starting to remember a few things,” Logue said.
“He is now able to hold brief conversations before having to rest.”
