The Primary Health Network has confirmed a handful of north-west clinics will administer the AstraZeneca vaccine within a fortnight.
Executive Director, John Baillie, says the rollout will begin from March 22.
North West Health’s Tamworth Respiratory Clinic has been locked in as a vaccination centre.
It will be among 280 in the Hunter New England Health District.
“Every week, we will be increasing the number of practises who start and that number will ultimately get to the full 280 that’ve expressed an interest.”
