Isobella Evans is a journalist with NBN News in Tamworth, NSW. After writing her first story at age twelve about an adventurous beach ball, she quickly discovered her love for writing. Since then, she has graduated from a Bachelor in Communication at the University of Newcastle and worked as a journalist for the Sydney Royal Easter Show and as a columnist for a Central Coast publication. NBN News is Isobella's first full-time television role, and she is loving every minute of it.

ARMIDALE BUSINESS PARK GAINING TRACTION AFTER FUNDING ANNOUNCED

The proposed business park at Armidale Regional Airport is gaining traction – Member for Northern Tablelands Adam Marshall committing $6.5 million dollars to the project. It comes after years of interest from residents. Mr Marshall says the funding will allow Armidale Regional Council to subdivide 17.5 hectares to the Airport’s south – creating dozens of new industrial and commercial lots. (VISION ONLY)

POUND RESCUE TAKES TO MALL FOR PET ADOPTION AWARENESS

Pound Rescue  took to Centrepoint Mall today, with some furry friends in tow. The foundation aims to rehome thousands of animals, who have been left in pounds or out on the streets across New South Wales, each year. “We collect unwanted animals from the pounds… And we transfer awareness of getting animals desexed, so that they don’t cause unwanted litters. We try and get all these little guys a home, and make sure that all their vet work gets done and they’re healthy.” Pound Rescue says anyone looking for a pet should visit their Facebook Page for more information. ‘TEN PINS AND MORE’ OPENS ALLEY AND ARCADE IN TAMWORTH

Tenpin bowling has made a triumphant return to Tamworth – ‘Tenpins and More’ opening today in Centrepoint Mall. The alley’s opening drew strong crowds, with the arcade also showing off a variety of much-loved video games. “We have our grand opening, bring the kids down! “CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG” TO LIFT-OFF AT CARINYA CHRISTIAN SCHOOL

Carinya Christian School’s production of “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang” is almost ready to lift off the ground. Staff and students alike have been working for almost a year to bring the musical classic… And a flying car… To the stage. “The students really own the production, and encourage each other. The car that we have… Which is a very technical prop is actually being flown and driven by students in the show, which is fantastic.” The curtain will officially open tonight, after an electrical storm on Wednesday grounded the musical’s namesake.
