SAUNDERS CAREER TAKING OFF

Quirindi’s Andy Saunders has missed out on a second title in two weeks, after the Penrith Panthers went down 32-28 to the Northern Pride yesterday.

Victory in the State Championship would’ve capped his best year in Sydney yet, after Saunders was named in the under 20’s team of the year.

The season isn’t over for the former Farrer student though, he’ll go into camp with the Junior Kangaroos this week.
