Newcastle teenager Jason Sangha has been signed by Big Bash League Champions, the Sydney Thunder, as their Community Rookie for the upcoming season.
The 16 year old has been a fan of the club since its inception.
Sangha was scouted by Thunder Director, Mike Hussey, and will get the chance to learn from test batsmen, Usman Khawaja.
