A motorbike rider is lucky to be alive after a dramatic collision with a car in Taree last night.
Emergency services were called to Kanangra Drive to find the car involved in the accident upside down and the driver missing.
She was found further down the street by police officers, who took her to Taree police station where she allegedly returned a positive breath test.
The motorcyclist was taken to Port Macquarie Base Hospital with minor injuries.
“We’re in the process of investigating exactly what’s going on and it’s certainly days yet.”
