A woman is in a critical condition at John Hunter hospital after she was pulled unconscious from the water at Newcastle Baths this afternoon.
Emergency services were called to Shortland Esplanade around 3pm, where paramedics gave the 30-year-old CPR.
Police aren’t treating the incident as suspicious.
