NORTHERN NSW LGA’S PERMITTED TO ENTER QUEENSLAND FROM TODAY

Residents of Moree, Tenterfield, Glen Innes, Inverell and Gwydir Shire can freely travel into Queensland from today.

The LGA’s were added to the Sunshine State’s border bubble earlier this month, following a public push from residents, council and the New South Wales Government.

Eligible residents can now travel as far north as they please, for any purpose.

Any person crossing the border must provide a valid Queensland Border Declaration Pass.

They can be accessed via the Queensland Government website.
