ARMIDALE TO MOVE TO LEVEL 3 WATER RESTRICTIONS FROM SEPTEMBER 1

Steady run-off and an encouraging rain forecast has seen Armidale Regional Council make the decision to lower the city’s water restrictions.

Households will be permitted to operate under Level 3 guidelines, from September 1.

Council’s Interim Administrator, Viv May, approved a recommendation to lower restrictions this week after the city’s water storage hit almost 70 percent capacity.

Council urges residents to remain concious of their water usage as restrictions ease.
