SEARCH CONTINUES FOR PRISON ESCAPEE

Police have released photos, as they continue to search for a man who escaped from a minimum-security correctional facility at Glen Innes.

44-year-old Selim Sensoy was reported missing from the facility at around 12pm, on May 23.

It’s believed he stole a John Deere 6520 tractor from a property on the Gwydir Highway the next day, with registration 3400T.

Police have released an image of the escapee and an image of a tractor similar to the one that was taken.

Sensoy was last seen wearing prison greens, he’s between 175 and 185 centimetres tall, of Mediterranean / Middle Eastern appearance, with a medium build, brown eyes and grey hair.

Police are urging anyone with information on the whereabouts of Sensoy, or the stolen tractor, to come forward, including anyone in the surrounding areas of Grafton, Tenterfield, Glen Innes and Guyra.

Sensoy is from Prospect but he has connections on the mid north coast and in south east Queensland.
