TAMWORTH SOUTH PUBLIC SCHOOL GIFTS THE COMMUNITY WITH $5 STALL

Tamworth South Public School became a one-stop shop today, ahead of the Mothers Day weekend.

The school opened its annual gift stall to the public, allowing passers-by to pop in and take home a present.

From books to bracelets, there were plenty of colourful choices – some even made especially for grandma.

“Sometimes, mums don’t have somebody that can go out and do some shopping for them, so if they can drop their kids here at the gate, they can get something for their mums, and everybody’s happy.”

Gifts were all sold at a flat rate of $5, with all money heading straight back to the school.
