The home of the Cudgen Hornets has been destroyed by fire.
The blaze breaking out at the Leagues Club yesterday afternoon, the unfortunate event coinciding with International Firefighters Day.
Fire crews from Kingscliff, Tweed Heads and Banora Point responded to numerous Triple Zero calls just after 3:30pm.
More than 30 firefighters battled the blaze for a several hours.
But unfortunately, the building sustained severe damage, with decades worth of memorabilia and photographs reduced to ash.
Thankfully no one was injured.
Police are at the scene today, investigating the cause of the fire.
