MAN ACCUSED OF MURDERING TWO PEOPLE IN TAMWORTH HOUSEFIRE IDENTIFIED

The man accused of murdering a woman and child in a Tamworth house fire last week can now be officially identified as 60-year-old Richard Sands.

A non-publication order on his identity was lifted yesterday.

The bodies of the woman and child were found in the burnt out home last Thursday.

Sands, who’s still under police guard in hospital, will face court in December.
